Cheat Codes:
------------
To enable the cheats you need to be in gameplay(singleplayer) and press
down F12 to bring down the console.

[CHEAT ON] - Enables a Cheat Code.
[CHEAT OFF] - If you see this for the description of a Cheat Code,
then you can run that Cheat Code again to turn the cheat off.

NOTE: ALL the Cheat Codes can be entered multiple times.

In the console write the following:

coal - Gives you coal
steel - Gives you steel
rubber - Gives you rubber
oil - Gives you oil
supplies - get 10000 supplies
info - Display information on the Country linked to .
Example: info USA
Will show the stats on "United States of America".
NOTE: see the 'CID' info above!
dissent - Thanks for the dissent! (+25% Dissent, 100% is Max)
supplies - Thanks for the supplies! (+5000 Supplies added)
transports - Thanks for the transports! (+100 transports added)
These are a subset of the Convoys.
escorts - Thanks for the escorts! (+100 escorts added)
These are a subset of the Convoys.
robespierre - [CHEAT ON] You can now do any reform you like!
robespierre - [CHEAT OFF] You can no longer change your country freely!
nuke - Thanks for the nuclear bomb! (+1 Nuke added)
nuke - is happy with the nuclear bomb!
Either this gives a nuke to that country, or it NUKES them.
(not sure which occurs)

Shown in the lower right corner of your screen.

showid - [CHEAT ON] Province ID's now shown!
When you put your mouse pointer over a Province, the PID Code
will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.
showid - [CHEAT OFF] Province ID's off!
fullcontrol - [CHEAT ON] You have now total control!
fullcontrol - [CHEAT OFF] You have lost total control!
neville - [CHEAT ON] AI now folds to all demands and suggestions!
neville - [CHEAT OFF] AI no longer folds to all demands and suggestions!
revolt [PID] - Cause a Revolt in this Province ID!
The Province should revolt to your country.
Example: revolt 497

teleport [PID] - Teleport the Selected Unit(s) to the Province ID.
Select a unit or units before running this cheat!
Example: teleport 479

Province ID Codes (also known as 'PID' codes):

Use the "showid" Cheat Code to display the Codes.
When you put your mouse pointer over a Province, the PID Code will appear in

Quick Units for Free:
---------------------
Note: When editing game files always make a back-up. First, go to your program
files, then the Hearts of Iron II or paradox Inter. folder. Then go to the
folder titled db, then the units folder, the brigade or division folder. In
either one pick the units you want to change. All you have to change is the
cost and build time to either 1 or 0. Changing anything else will cause the
game to crash.


Resource and Manpower:
----------------------
Get loads of resources and manpower Back up the file you are going to alter,
or you get a free game-screwing!

Go to the directory /HOI2/db/events and in there you should find many text
documents. Locate the one file called RandomEvents and open it using Notepad
or similar text editor (note you need to save the file with the existing
extension). Search the bottom of the file and just add:

Save the file when you play HOI2 game type event 1018
(in your cheat window).
Then click yes/no to get a load of resources and manpower!
