To unlock panoz GTR1 in 2 blitz race Professional mode. First start blitz
race. Select bus and when the game starts,then press C not continuously
until the bus disappears. Then press 2 continuously and at the same time
press "C". The blitz timer will be off. Do the same process in next blitz
race too.

Go to midtown madness folder. Then go to the folder of PLAYERS. Delete all
files except "CHICAGO" folder and players.dir. All cars and races will be
unlocked.

Here we go! ok this cheat is based to unlock all the cars & races, You can
unlockthe cars like that Example:

"C:\Midtown\midtown.exe" -allcars -allrace


Hex Cheat:
----------
First, one has to open the file "ui.ar" in the Midtown madness directory. At
the bottom of the file, one can find the different things such as the placing
in the race required to unlock the next set of races as well as how many races
it unlocks. There is also the stuff where you can choose how many races you
must complete to unlock the cars such as the Panoz GTR-1. Below are the exact
co-ordinates of the different vehicles (the offsets may vary in different
hex editors, but not by much):

Just read from the ANSI text part and edit what one wants. Basically, what
everyone whould want is to unlock every vehicle. Simple.
Just set the "Unlock Flags" part to "Unlock Flags=0" or 00. In the Panoz GTR-1,
set the unlock score to 0000. Even an amateur can drive that car then. It should
be pretty simple to edit what one wants other than that.


No timer in Blitz mode:
-----------------------
This cheat makes the timer in blitz mode disappear. It also makes the dashbord
disappear. When you are starting the race press your view button and go inside
the car. When you are inside look back and while you are doing that press your
view button again. Now the timer will be gone. But if you want your time
registered, you simply go in the car and just look back. The timer will be
running again.

This code can also be used on any other race to get a very good time.


-GameTips-
----------
Tip: If you're finding traffic hard to navigate, get off the road and onto the
sidewalk. Most of the vehicles can drive quite nicely on the sidewalks between
the guardrails and the lampposts, and you'll find a clear path (this works very
well out on Navy Pier). Also, don't worry about crashing into those massive
checkpoint posts on the sidewalk--they're invisible (collision-wise) to your
vehicle.

Tip: If you get into a bump-and-grind situation with an AI car, you'll find
yourself losing most of the tussles, even if you have the bigger vehicle. The
best tactic is to quickly sideswipe the car, and then swerve away. If you time
it right, you can bump the car into oncoming traffic or a building.

Tip: The AI-controlled drivers always stay on the road, which means that you'll
have great opportunities to cut a few corners here and there (remember, Chicago
has plenty of parks!). When you're off-road driving, slow down a bit and try not
to make any turns. If you try anything wild on the soft grass, you'll probably
spin out and lose any advantage you might have gained.

Tip: To win a race, especially a Checkpoint race, you need to know the course.
Take on the course in one of the heavier vehicles with no cops and limited
traffic, and you'll maximize your chances of making it through the course and
learning all of the possible shortcuts. You won't win, but you'll gain vital
knowledge that will help you when you go back into the race with a performance
vehicle and full obstacles in place.

Tip: Vehicle damage is your enemy! There are so many things to hit during the
course of the race that you'll often find yourself with a wheelless, smoking
hulk of a car before you can finish the race. Try to save your damage points
for when you really need them (such as making that jump across Navy Pier) and
avoid hitting too many lampposts.


View damage:
------------
There is a damage meter in almost all of the cars. You must have the view set
to "In-Car", with the dashboard showing. The meter has yellow to the left and
red on the right. The meter goes up as you crash into objects. In most cars,
except the Panoz Roadster, it will be in the lower left of the dashboard.


Overhead view:
--------------
Select any smaller vehicle. Repeatedly press "C" during game play until you
cannot see your car. Press V, then press [Esc] to restart the race, then
press "V" again.


Drive 999 mph:
--------------
Select single player mode and choose a big car. Start the game, go to any alley,
get wedged between two walls, and accelerate. If done correctly, you will reach
999 mph.


Disable blitz mode timer:
-------------------------
Press [View] when a race starts to switch to the in-the-car camera. While inside,
look back and press [View] again. If done correctly, the dashboard and timer will
disappear. To start the timer again, enter the car and look back again.


Drive on building:
------------------
There is a dotted square on the middle part the map. Go straight down the top
dotted line and try to go around at top speed with a light weight car. There
will be a ramp when you get to the end of the road. Hit that ramp and your car
will jump very high. Try heading for the building on the left. If you succeed,
you will be on top of the building and the background will glitch. This jump
is possible, but difficult to pull off.


Drive bus on roof:
------------------
Drive the City Bus into McCormick Place and into the garage area. Drive up one
of the ramps on the inside. If done correctly, you will be on the roof.
Note: This cheat works best with the dashboard or external view.


Invisible car:
--------------
Press [View] to select the furthest view. Then, press D to return to the
in-the-car-camera. Type wvvww to remove the car, leaving only the shadow in
the view.


Wheels only:
------------
Select the Panoz AIV Roadster, then press D followed by V during game play.
Press [Esc] to restart the race and only the wheels of your car will be
displayed.


GameTip:
--------
Easy way to get away from the cops is to wait til the bridge gos up and drop
into the water and start over

Getting ride of cops:
---------------------
All you have to do is get alot of cops behind you in San Francisco go to the
Golden Gate Bridge you have to have a big truck(humvee,bus,firetruck, ect.),
then go to any were on the bridge.Get one cope against the bridge and floor
it and the cop will fall. It may take along time but it is worth it.


Big Wide World:
---------------
To get out side San Fran, select the Cruise mode and pick your car as God
Killer or BMW M3 2000, go to the dock end of the high way. Go as fast as
you can up the highway. Just before you get to the turn offs, turn left
slightly. You should fly over the wall and out side the city. BEWARE,
the walls of the city are invisible on the outside, so go slowly!


Super Grav:

(Only works in Single Player mode in Cruise Mode)

During Play Press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-F7 until a box appears on the screen.
Type the next code: /grav
Now quit to Race Menu. Enter again to Cruise Mode. Choose the same car and
Start up. (If you done has it written alot of smoke should get from your
wheels has you start to drive). Now go to the bridge and when it's up, jump
with speed over him and you will fly very far. Have Fun..


Hint: Want to see Pizza:
------------------------
When buzz the police hit the police when the black smoke come out that is when he
cannot move.Then the pizzas will come out of his car. This work only in single
player.

If you want unlock all game the make new player name of moammar and the go to players
in midtown the delete everything except player.dir and chigago the go to chigago and
delete the file in it but dont delete chigago in players.

While driving a light car try to hit tall buildings sideways you will fly wright up
on the building.


Cheat:

Wanna invert ur car. Press "z" or "x" to invert, zoom in and out of car.


VIEW:

Type "c" on your keyboard and your view will change.

Write down a new name and write "vabusfor" a new player and then choose city bus start
at cruiseinstead of city bus you would get a bus for delivering people.


Cheat:

This code should be entered in the Name column by clicking NEW.This code will unlock all
the cars in only the CRUISE mode. The code is "iliketounlockcars".


Hint:

The best way to get rid off yhe police is, press up arrow key and right arrow key. You
spines over the road .the police cars get smashed themselves in the nearby building.

To get rid of the police severe attacks,Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + f7 until a box
appears on the screen and enter this code: /nodamage


Cheat:

To perform stunts above water ,go near UI Area and there will be a slider touching from
the ground to the air. To try this stunt, Clear the Traffic Density,Cop Density and
Pedestrian Density and select the Cruise Mode and select the Panoz Roadster and go at a
speed of 140 - 160 kmph and you will see that you will jump over the water from one road
to another. Make sure that while doing this stunt do not use the brake and you dont fall
in the water.


Sliding in Corners:
-------------------
When you are going through a corner and keep sliding to where counter-steering dosn't
work press the "R" button to put the automatic transmission into reverse. Get the
timing right and you can go into a turn in a Panoz Roadster and come out with little
or no damage. Just make sure you put the car back into gear. This works well with the
Panoz Roadster and pretty well with the Mustang GT.


Cheat:

First enter the cruise mode.then press ctrl+f7+alt+shift a box will appear. Then type
"webdessaojg" and voila! u can unlock all cars!!!! only in single player.


Cheat:
------
Enter your name as "Cunning" and choose any car in cruise mode. Every car will be hit
by the jet plane.


Cheat:
------
Enter your name as "Screwball" and choose any car in cruise mode. Then, you will
start out as that car, then, you will turn into a replica of the first car you hit.


Land on boat in England:
------------------------
In England, go to the castle near the river Thames. Drive very fast towards the bridge/
ramp. If you make the jump, you will land on a boat. Immediately hit the brakes after
touching the boat or you will fall in the water.


Secret area:
------------
When you start the game, go down the red line on the map towards the Dearborn Station.
Take a right on the dotted line and turn left on yellow line. Drive straight onto the
black line and take a right. Look ahead and you should see a big gray square wall.
Drive around the wall until you see a black part on the wall. Drive into it and you
should now be in a quarry-type place.


Phantom sounds:
---------------
Go into the tunnel that goes into the garage when there are no cars in there. You will
hear a honk, yelling, then a crash. If you look back, there will be nothing there. This
also happens when you go to the road where it goes into the freeway ramp -- you will
just hear a honk and yelling.
Note: This only happens in certain locations.


Shrink cars:
------------
In the tunnel with the garage inside, hit a number of cars on to the part of the exit
where the hill starts. Make sure that half of the car is on either side of the slope
going up. Go far into the garage/parking lot area of the tunnel and go back to the slope
where you hit all the cars. If done correctly, one of the cars should be shrunken and
its wheels should be bouncing as if it had hydraulics.


Picking the right car for the job:
----------------------------------
In some races, the ability to go offroad is immeasurable, as is the durability of the
car. The Mustang and the Panoz are fast, but they are quite fragile. The Ford F-350,
on the other hand, is one big hunk of a car. Not very maneuverable, sure, but heck of
a durable truck, and it can go offroad! Perfect for driving through the park in winter.


Nasty trick: build your own roadblocks:
---------------------------------------
You're well ahead in a durable car (probably by taking a shortcut) but the other
competitors in more fragile cars are coming up fast? Create some roadblocks by
sideswiping some traffic cars. The traffic cars will skid to a stop, hopefully right
into the path of the competitors.


Hint:

Take any car and drive a speed of above hundred and hit a compact car.
The car will roll like a tornado and stop on the ground.


Cheat:

Press - ctrl-alt-shift-F7 a type in the blank space - /grav

How to do?
Go and crash a car.The car will rotate on the road.If the car hits the other cars,
the other cars also will rotate.If you hit heavy vehicles.You can push or carry
the vehicles.(This do not happen when you hit Cop cars)

Strange crashes:
----------------
When you are on the highway with low traffic with a Panoz GTR1, drive about 200 km/h
then hit a small car. The small car will flip and tumble before finally landing on
its back.


Cop deactivate:
---------------
When you go into the airport there is two loading dock or whatever take your cop
inbetween those get his hood on the wall he will stay there until you go back
inbetween the loading dock. [Only works with yellow mustang]


Up a tree:
----------
In single player cruise mode select the "freight liner" then accelerate at high speed
and hit any tree and you will fly up it.


To fly a car:
-------------
Press [Ctrl]+k+[Alt] then you should be abele to fly.
