Reddit user Adameme has offered his computer's specifications, which allows you
to have a good frame rate and a good looking game without sacrificing too much
of the graphics. Here's the tip:

Settings Base: Lowest
Anti-Aliasing: FFXA (without AA, jagged edges are painfully noticeable. Having
at least this one makes everything look a lot more digestible without too much
of a performance nuke.)
Env./terrain quality: Medium (this is the only 'Quality' setting I have above
Lowest, as I value the visual detail of Andromeda's beautiful new worlds a lot!)
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Resolution Scale: Auto 720p


Sell all Salvage:

You’ve probably dug through a lot of containers, and hopefully you have some
items that are valued as “high.” You’ll also want to sell other items you don’t
use (weak armor and weapons) as your beginning inventory slots fill quickly.
